Osvaldo Vazquez is the mixologist and beverage manager at Chileno Bay Resort
He joined the team after holding leadership positions at luxury resorts and destinations in Los Cabos, including The Cape by Thompson Hotels, Capella Pedregal, The Resort at Pedegral and the former Nikki Beach. In 2015, Vázquez was one of 11 grand prize winners (selected from a group of bartenders and mixologists from around the world) in the G'Vine Global Bartender Challenge for his creative cocktail recipe inspired by the creator of color television. .
Celebrated for his extensive knowledge of regional spirits and his edgy approach to cocktails, Vázquez prides himself on using seasonal and often homemade ingredients. In fact, Vázquez launched his own line of Mexican-inspired barrel-aged bitters, Bitter & Barrel, which is sold in high-end bars around the world.
Offers regular weekly tastings at the Chileno Bay resort in Los Cabos, including the "Spirituality" Experience, which takes guests on a hands-on tasting of tequila, mezcal, bitters, and other regional Latin American agave spirits.
